The third Tuesday of the month is our regular meeting time, open to the public. We meet at NOON in the Memorial Room of the Akeley Memorial Building.
June: We were all saddened by news of the death of our long-time friend and colleague Edward Rhodes who passed away on Wednesday, June 16th, 2010 after fighting many medical battles for a long time. He had held many positions at the Society including being the President, and most recently, Curator. This comes all too close to our losing Bev Davis last year in July. We will be lost without him and his wealth of knowledge.
The family has just announced the time for Edward’s memorial service:
July 31st, at 11:00 a.m.

July: We will be closed on Tuesday, July 20th due to an offsite meeting. Please come back on Friday or send us an email. Thank you for your understanding.
August: It is ANNUAL MEETING TIME! We have a very special event planned for this year following our brief business meeting at 6:30. See the poster for details!
