Hours of Operation:
The Stowe Historical Society Museum is open from 10:00am - 12:00pm Tuesday and Friday throughout the year with the exception of Stowe Town Meeting Day, the first Tuesday in March. Arrangements can be made to be open at other times.
The Museum and Research Room are on the main floor of the Akeley Soldiers’ Memorial Town Hall on the west side of Main Street. Entrance is free, donations are accepted. The Stowe Historical Society does not have its own parking facility. Free parking is available throughout the village.
We recommend Groups planning to visit the Civil War collection and other artifacts from Stowe's more than 200 year history make reservations, as space is limited.
