Visit the museum to see our Stowe Theatre Guild exhibit Come Play With Us! in celebration of their 20th season performing in the Town Hall Theatre (the Memorial Building on Main Street). The exhibit features a selection of posters advertising past performances along with a selection of props and costumes from plays.
In addition, see theatre broadsides from the SHS collection dating as far back as 1861!
Also new to the museum is an exhibit about Art & Artisans in Stowe, now deceased.
The Art of Craft meets the Craft of Art follows on the heels of a very successful display at the Vermont History EXPO in Tunbridge, June 21-22. You will see artwork by artisans including Joe Skinger (silversmith), Walter Wright (decorative artist), Dorthea Taber (painter), Edwin Houston (photographer), Stan Marc and Ki Wright, Walton Blodgett,(painters), and others!

Barnes Camp has recently undergone extensive renovations and will be open to the public with limited hours providing information and refreshment to visitors to the Notch. In addition to a brief business meeting, this meeting promises an interesting program and refreshments as well.
The event is FREE and open to the public.
